 [ "lap up" ]

1: When there's not enough seats in a car. Or if someone wants their significant other to sit on their lap

  * e.g.,  ... "There's too many people" "we gonna lap up then!" 

 [ "lapped up" ]

1: basically when a guy is really close next to you and tries to make everyone leave the room and turns off the lights but you just see him as a friend you tell your friends to explain the proximity of him near you you tell them he is lapped up on you

  * e.g.,  ... Guys we were literally lapped up with each other. 

 [ "lapping up the likes" ]

1: An occasion where you temporarily withdraw from posting on Facebook so that you can focus on watching how many likes your tremendous previous status is now getting.

  * e.g.,  ... Harry: "dude, you should post some more statuses, that last one was awesome" Roger: "nah man, it's only been a couple of hours and I'm still lapping up the likes" 

 [ "Lapping it up" ]

1: When one exceedingly enjoys an experience whereby they are the central focus.

  * e.g.,  ... She was pretending to dislike the attention being received at the bar, but everyone knew she was lapping it up. 

 [ "Lap it up" ]

1: When there is not enough seats in a car so you have to sit on someone’s lap

  * e.g.,  ... There is not enough seats so y’all have to lap it up
